- As an Application Analyst you will contribute to the continued development, operation, and support of SimCorp Dimension as a Service in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take part in the day-to-day operational activities and act on events and incidents that need specific attention beyond the scope of production support;
- Contribute to the functional availability of SimCorp Dimension ecosystem, monitor the system, the execution of batch processes and develop optimizations of processes;
- Analyze problems that occur and develop solutions to resolve them; provide root cause analysis that allow to improve the processes;
- Deliver support to users of the SimCorp Dimension ecosystem where necessary and liaise with production support (internal/external) on operational level;
- Support the upgrade process to new releases and new functionalities;
- Create specifications that are in line with the stakeholder’s requirements, assess the impact and translate desired changes/business needs into clear, functional possibilities, supported and implementable solutions;
- Take responsibility for change requests or even small projects;
- Responsible to deliver support during all phases of the project and business changes.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and several years of hand-on experience in supporting and customizing SimCorp Dimension;
- Sound experience in Batch Job management, Data import/Export and possibly Fund Accounting workflow or Communication Server is a plus;
- Hands-on experience in application management/application support as well as project management and experience with Microsoft Azure platform considered a plus;
- Service-oriented mindset and a high sense of responsibility;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Independent, pragmatic, and result driven working style;
- Good communication skills (English must; German is an advantage).
