The Product Specialist Insurance-Linked Strategies is a member of the client solutions team. The Product Specialist manages the interaction with the business development team (i.e. sales/distribution) across the Group. In this role, the Product Specialist is responsible for all documentation used for the interaction with the investor base of the ILS fund and mandate universe. Furthermore, the Product Specialist is responsible for establishing recurring as well as customized investment management comments and reports across the product range.

The main tasks can be listed as follows:

• Act as first point of contact for the business development team across the Group with regards to the product suite;
• Represent the Group and its fund suite internally and externally, in close collaboration with the partners and portfolio managers;
• Independently maintain and update the sales documentation for the ILS product suite, including process- and due diligence documentation;
• Establish customized product documentation such as manager updates, catastrophe event alerts and recurring customized client reports;
• Support the ILS team regarding ad-hoc and project tasks, such as supporting annual audits, supporting ESG/SFDR reporting, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Economics or Finance;
• Solid experience with financial data systems (Bloomberg); proficient user of power point and excel;
• Experience in the asset management industry in the area of insurance-linked strategies (ILS) and/or fixed-income (min. 5 years);
• Fluent in German and English; other language skills of advantage;
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, pro-active team player.
