• Responsible for the operation (lifecycle management) and the further development (design, build, maintain and support) of the IBM MQ and IBM MQ MFT infrastructure as an application integration specialist.
• Conducting technical analysis and consulting sessions with the application developers.
• Conduct DR (disaster recovery) drills to ensure the team is fully prepared in the event of a disaster.
• Support in the development and implementation of services, as well as timely troubleshooting of incidents.
• Assistance in resolving production issues related to the MQ infrastructure.
• Actively collaborating with the architects to develop the standards and best practices for using the MQ infrastructure as an enterprise product.
• Actively maintain the relationship with the client application teams to understand their business needs and requirements for the MQ infrastructure.
• Knowledge transfer and exchange of experience within the Application Integration Team.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science from a university or technical college or relevant specialist knowledge.
• Knowledge of the administration of more complex MQ infrastructures (hub & spoke) including knowledge of IBM MQ MFT
• Knowledge of the relevant messaging standards in the banking environment (SWIFT MT/MX, FIX Protocol etc.)
• Programming skills in a scripting language (ESQL, Bash, Perl, Java)
• Linux knowledge
• Experience with firewalling, load balancing, PKI certificates
• Experience with 2nd level support
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving and synthesis skills
• German level B2

Desirable:

• Knowledge of SWIFT Infrastructure (AMH), Sanction Screening (Fircosoft) or the FIX Protocol (Appia FIX Engine) is a big plus.
• Knowledge of the development of integration solutions in the banking environment based on IBM Integration Bus / IBM APP Connect Enterprise.
