The SAP Center of Excellence provides global SAP support for our centralized SAP system in Switzerland. We currently service marketing and financial accounting divisions in Switzerland, the UK, the Netherlands, the USA and 20 other countries.

Our team is responsible for ensuring the daily operational availability of SAP, optimized use of the system, identifying new opportunities to enhance the system and implementing projects to service our global business. Our SAP system includes SAP S/4 HANA ERP, SAP Fiori, PO and BW on HANA.

Within our global Center of Excellence team, you will be responsible to assist in the optimization of our finance and accounting processes as well as the implementation of new functionality for our global environment.

The position encompasses the following tasks:

• Provide first and second level support
• Determine business requirements (e.g., functional and technical, information needs, business processes) through information-gathering sessions
• Analyze information gathered, document business requirements and map to SAP business processes
• Configure FICO solutions
• Functionality testing: knowledge of, and ability to use, testing methodologies, processes and tools, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing
• Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area
• Provide support for business applications or infrastructure in order to maintain productivity level
• Work very closely with business decision makers and end users

Requirements

• 10 years of FI and CO experience plus at least 5 full cycle implementations
• Strong experience in a support environment
• Excellent understanding of accounting, controlling and finance processes
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Confidence and ability to make recommendations for selection of appropriate SAP business processes
• An analytical perception, a structured way of working and an ability to get things done
• Strong client relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Ability to work under pressure of tight project deadlines
• Fluency in English (speaking, writing) as this is an English speaking environment
• SAP certification and a university degree
