We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager & Business Analyst in our rapidly growing Data, Processes and Systems organisation, a team of specialists consisting of Business Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers working in the Private Markets COO department. The team's focus is the execution of strategic initiatives, replacement and introduction of new tools and platforms and design of new scalable solutions to serve our clients’ needs.

Your main tasks include:

  • Be part of a major, multi-year business and technology transformation to replace and upgrade the core private markets applications;
  • Conduct requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the firm including international locations;
  • Define and present conceptual approaches , prepare solution options and required decisions and document results;
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets;
  • Understand the Target Operating Model, ensure that the projects course and decisions are aligned with the company’s strategy, vision and goals;
  • Manage external technology providers and drive the selection process;
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards;
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork, share knowledge among project team members, stakeholders and partners.

Requirements

  • At least Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business Economics, Business Informatics or Information Technology;
  • 3-5 years working experience in business analysis/project management in a financial services company or with a leading consulting firm in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;
  • In-depth and proven business analysis/project management, delivery & leadership skills (both technical and people as well as change management);
  • Motivation and drive to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various partners, ability to deliver under tight deadlines with a high level of integrity;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions and process information quickly;
  • You feel comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results;
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, yet analytical and well-structured at the same time;
  • Top communication skills suited for all types of project situations and levels of the organisation;
  • Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organisation;
  • Excellent language skills in English, if you also have any German skills, it is considered as a plus.
