As a leader of our Valuation, Economics & Modelling team within Strategy & Transactions in Zurich, you will develop and evaluate effective and innovative business models for our clients, evaluate new market potential, derive value implications and show our clients options for action.

• Your focus is Valuation, Modelling & Economics and you also support other topics in the field of corporate finance
• You will help our customers with their strategic corporate development
• You will constantly expand your knowledge through varied tasks, interdisciplinary assignments and through various further training opportunities

Your tasks

• Operational management of the Valuation, Modelling and Economics FSO team
• Preparation of company valuations in the context of M&A transactions and restructuring
• Preparation of fairness opinions and impairment tests as well as implementation of valuation reviews as part of purchase price allocations (PPA)
• Management of corporate finance projects and management of project teams
• Development and expansion of customer relationships and acquisition of new valuation mandates
• Development of options for action in strategic and operational decision-making processes with assistance multidimensional financial models
• Further development of our existing solutions and offers, especially in the area of data analytics

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of work experience in the field of valuation & business modelling, ideally with a management consultant or an investment bank
• Good Excel modelling skills and the willingness to analyze, process and display large amounts of data (such as Power BI, SQL) to develop further
• You have a university degree in economics, preferably with a focus on corporate finance or accounting and/or strategy.
• Other relevant qualifications (e.g. CFA) are a plus but not a requirement
• You have strong analytical skills paired with a clear way of expression and a love of communication
• Skills that will help you further: the ability to work in a team, commitment, independent working methods, quick perception
• As well as fluent knowledge of German and English
