For our customer we are now looking to build a new additional data management team, both resource consultants and full team delivery are welcomed.

The consultant will be part of one of the data management teams. This team ensures that the customer can search in all the PB of data stored on-prem and in the cloud. With this responsibility includes data integration, data access, data mining, data tagging, searchable metadata, and information dashboards.

The work includes:

• Gather requirements based on the data use cases
• Create/maintain a database based on requirements
• Create a web interface to enable data browsing & retrieval
• Maintain and improve the system
• Data quality assurance
• Data warehousing
• Data Governance
• Data Architecture
• Assignment start is flexible, but the customer would like the consultant to start as soon as possible.

Competence 

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Advanced knowledge in object-oriented software development with at least 1 programming language. Preferred domain language is C#.
• Experience in test driven development.
• Experience in scripting languages. Preferably Python.
• Experience in Database management systems. SQL or/and NoSQL.
• Self-driven to identify problems, areas of improvements and taking initiative in finding solutions.
• Passion for data. Increasing its usability and making it accessible to everyone

• Experience with multi-threaded / multi-user server-side software development.
• Experience in big data technologies & frameworks.
