Assignment:
For temporary medical advisory capacity within our organization, we are looking for an experienced self-employed company doctor to support us with absenteeism management, employability, and prevention. The assignment is clearly defined and results-oriented, in keeping with independent work.
Purpose of the assignment:
The deployment of a self-employed company doctor is intended to address temporary capacity shortages and ensure continuity in our absenteeism management. The occupational physician provides independent, expert advice to employees, managers, and HR with the goals of:
- Timely and high-quality medical assessments
- Optimal support for recovery and reintegration
- Strengthening sustainable employability within the organisation

Responsibilities:
- Conducting (absence) consultations at the Arnhem location.
- Supporting employees in recovery, reintegration, and sustainable employability.
- Provides independent, medically professional advice to employees, managers, and HR.
- Identifying trends and risks in the areas of health and prevention.
- Collaborating with HR and our occupational health and safety partners for optimal absenteeism management.
The assignment is successful when:
- The absenteeism caseload is managed promptly, expertly, and without backlogs.
- Consultations and advice are provided within agreed turnaround times.
- Managers and HR receive consistent and applicable advice.
- Employees are satisfied with the guidance and support.
- Preventive signals and advice demonstrably contribute to sustainable employability.
Profile
- 7+ Years operating within a similar capacity.
- BIG-registered occupational health physician.
- Extensive experience in absenteeism guidance and advice.
- Strong communication skills and accessibility.
- Independent and professional approach.
- Pré: experience in international or growing organizations.
- Required education: HBO

Location: Gelderland (8 hours every other week on location in Gelderland)
