The assignment concerns a greenfield implementation of data processing for QRM. By making the correct mappings and transformations QRM should be able to generate the correct cash flows. You play a key role by ensuring the contract data is handled correctly in IRRBB calculations.

Tribe Treasury ALM

Tribe Treasury ALM facilitates the wider Treasury department by providing key ALM metrics and analyses. As QRM Onboarding Specialist you will be part of the ALM Engine Area, which is the area where the strategic ALM tool QRM is positioned. In both the Area and the Tribe we have a mix of competences, ranging from IT developers to QRM modellers. You will be part of Chapter QRM, which is a young and international group of 30+ QRM configuration and reporting professionals.

2. Perform in-depth testing and aligning cash flow profiles between different systems;

You and your talent

• Relevant QRM data onboarding experience;
• Knowledge of financial market products and how these are modelled;
• Able to work with large data sets and software such as SQL;
• Helicopter view of the banking business;

What result do you want to achieve?

Implementing a new, accurate data processing system with built-in controls for GRFD2 data and New York onboarding. IT is responsible for data processing, while the independent contractor is responsible for requirements and checks in QRM.

The intended objective by the end of the assignment is that a new data processing system has been set up in the strategic data platform CDS for the GRFD2 data and the New York data.

What specialist knowledge is required?

Creating the correct IT specifications requires in-depth, specialized knowledge of the QRM balance sheet management system. It's essential to know exactly how data fields are incorporated into QRM calculations. This knowledge is extremely rare.

What role will the self-employed person fulfil within the project and how do the tasks differ from those of employees?

The independent contractor will create specifications for data processing per product. They will then test the data in QRM to verify that the entire chain is functioning correctly. This is a change project with an end date, not part of our regular work. Our regular work involves running monthly production reports (IRRBB & CSRBB).

• 2 office days in consultation; probably Tue/Wed or Tue/Thu;
• Hardest requirement = more than 5 years of experience with QRM;
• Contribute to the calculations and reporting on Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk for our 600 billion+ balance sheet.
