Data & Analytics Engineer

Job Description

  • As a Data & Analytics Solution Engineer you’re working at the interface between Business and IT in a growing, fast paced environment, where you can make an impact.
  • You develop, test and deliver high quality reports, visualizations and analytical apps according to business needs;
  • You extract business requirements, create specifications and estimate effort required to deliver solutions as a bridge between businesses and technology teams;
  • You define, manage and own data products in close alignment with the needs from investment, risk and program management teams;
  • You use applications and tools for data transformation, ingestion, and visualization;
  • You integrate data from multiple sources, including internal and external systems to create comprehensive data sets;
  • You support business process re-design and simplification using data and technology;
  • You investigate and resolve data discrepancies;
  • You understand, explain, and communicate on complex topics with both business and technical teams;
  • You contribute to the development of processes and best practices in delivering Data & Analytics solutions;
  • You actively support and share your expertise across the extended Data & Analytics team.

Requirements

  • You already have 4+ years’ experience in building data pipelines and delivering reports, visualizations, and analytical applications to drive business decisions;
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Finance or Information technology or other numerical related field is required for the role;
  • If you already worked in Investment Management it is a plus, but interest in Private Markets is required;
  • You are an expert in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and others;
  • You already worked with modern cloud data toolsets, preferably with Azure and you’re experienced with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing;
  • Your analytical and technical skills are excellent; You like to work in a team and your able to work collaboratively at all of the organization;
  • You’re business oriented and dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements;
  • Self-motivation, proactivity paying attention to detail, taking ownership and using initiatives is part of your work ethics;
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work;
  • You’re fluent in English, if you have any German skills, it is beneficial.
